Retooling A Bit

A bit of retooling is going on for me. When I got my new camera I saw the opportunities I didn’t have before. I also felt that part of my process lent itself to an older way of doing things. I’m going to start presenting myself as someone who can do a lot with very little. I don’t mean that in a negative sense but in that I can show up without a large truck of equipment but a small cart of bags of gear to give people a video that will look like I did. Any future gear purchases will also lend itself towards this. My new motto is: “I bring a lot to the table without bringing a lot into the room.” I’ll post about the specific gear changes as they happen. Usually when I go some place I have it set on what I am doing. So a huge mob of people breaking out into a dance number is not exactly something I would be too excited about. However, if this kind would happen I would consider it worthy because if it speaks to my geekdom then it is cool.

From Star Wars To Jedi The Making Of A Saga

On the Blu-ray of the ‘Star Wars’ films that was released last year there was an extra disc that included some of the older documentaries which I love. I remember them as a kid. There was one made for each film of the original trilogy with C-3PO and R2-D2 hosting the first. Mark Hamill hosting the second. Carrie Fischer the third. However, there was one that was made right after ‘Return Of The Jedi’ that was about making all three of the films. While the information might seem redundant after the inclusion of the three which concentrate on each individual film there is still stuff in it that is not in the others. Plus the nostalgia reason alone is enough to hopefully warrant the inclusion of ‘From Star Wars To Jedi The Making Of A Saga‘ on a future release. It’s a fan favorite and one that many of us […]
