Double anonymized commentary This magazine uses a double anonymized critique, which means that the identities of the authors are hidden from critics and vice versa. For more information, please visit our website. To facilitate this task, please add the front page (with the author`s details): these include titles, author names, affiliations, confirmations and any declaration of interest, as well as a full address for the author concerned, including an email address. Manuscript displayed (no author information): The main part of the document (including references, numbers, tables and possible confirmations) should not contain identifying information such as the names or affiliations of the authors. Statement of Interest All authors must disclose all financial and personal relationships with other individuals or organizations that may influence their work inappropriately (biased). Examples of potentially competing interests include employment, consulting firms, stock ownership, fees, testimony from paid experts, patent/registration applications and grants, or other financing. Authors must disclose all interests in two places: 1. A summary statement of interest in the cover file (if double blind) or in the manuscript file (if a single blind person). If there is no interest to declare, say: “Declarations of interest: none.” This summary statement will eventually be published if the article is accepted. 2. Detailed information as part of a separate declaration of interest that is part of the journal`s official records. It is important that potential interests are reported in both locations and that the information is consistent. More information.
Click here to download the author`s agreement form. It is imperative to submit the author`s agreement to complete the submission process. Authors are encouraged to print out the form and sign it in the appropriate location. The scanned copy of this signed form must be downloaded to confirm the agreement. Changes to the author authors are expected to carefully review the list and order of the authors before submitting their manuscript and providing the final list of authors at the time of the initial submission. Any addition, deletion or re-listing of authors` names should not take place until the manuscript has been adopted and only if it has been approved by the journal`s publisher. To request such a change, the publisher must receive from the author concerned: (a) the reason for changing the list of authors and (b) written confirmation (e-mail, letter) of all authors they agree to add, withdraw or relocate. If authors are added or deleted, this includes confirmation of the author who is added or deleted. Only in exceptional cases will the publisher consider adding, deleting or reorganizing the authors after the adoption of the manuscript. While the publisher reviews the application, the publication of the manuscript is suspended. If the manuscript has already been published in an online edition, all applications approved by the publisher result in a corrigendum.
Sending Statement and Verification The filing of an article implies that the book described has not been published before (except in the form of a summary, conference or scientific thesis, See “Multiple, redundant or simultaneous publication” for more information), that it is not envisaged to be published elsewhere, that its publication is authorized by all authors and implicitly or explicitly by the competent authorities in which the book was produced and that, if accepted, it will not be published elsewhere in the same form, in English or in another language, including electronically without the written consent of the author.
