I went to the Drive-In Massacre which is the second year this was done at the McHenry Drive-In. Three horror films shown at the drive-in with a special guest. Last year it was The Monster Squad with director Fred Dekker in person, Lucio Fulci’s Zombie, and Sleepaway Camp. This year the films were The Return Of The Living Dead with Linnea Quigley in person, the new 4K restoration of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, and Creepshow. I brought my Sony A7 with me and grabbed some shots with my Voigtlander 40mm F/1.4 lens. One thing I did was take a couple of long exposure shots with my wide angle lens.

Then I exported them as high resolution jpg files and brought that into After Effects as an […]
A new episode of my new video blog Vague Ramblings is up. In this episode I have Post Office woes, plus some new film posters to add to my collection, an update on my upcoming short film, and a bunch of other ramblings in my vague manner.
